What time should I arrive?
Please arrive at the appointment time we give you. If you are new we will ask you to complete a short consultation form so we can give you the best treatment tailored for you. Your consultation time does not come off your treatment time. We will always give your full treatment time and this won't begin until we start with you ready on the couch.
I have booked the Crow's Nest, so where should I go?
If you appointment is in our Crow's Nest room please arrive directly to this room at your appointment time. Please note this room is located on a separate road (Bath road) from our seafront reception, full directions will be on your confirmation email. If you are early there is an outside waiting area (under shelter) where you can sit.
What should I wear?
Just wear your normal clothes! Your therapist will advise you what you need to take off and will then leave the room to give you privacy to get ready. Usually we will ask you to go down to underwear and get under the towels but obviously for some treatments such as reflexology or a pedicure you can stay full dressed if you prefer. Your therapist will advise you before.
If you have booked a pedicure please bring along flip flops or open toe shoes to wear after you treatment. If booked the 60 min Marine Pedicure is best to avoid wearing tight trousers.
Will I be covered for treatment?
Yes you will be covered up with towels for your treatment and we will only uncover the part we are treating.
How much time should I allow for my treatment in the Crow's Nest/Ocean Suite?
We give you up to 30 minutes relaxation time after your treatment, if the weather is good you can relax on the balcony, have a drink and take in the view.
Can I request a particular therapist?
Yes of course but please do this at time of booking to ensure they are available.
Do you need to know what treatment I have having in advance or can I just book the time?
Usually we ask to know what treatment you want in advance. This is so we can match you with the right therapist and for some of the VOYA Spa treatments there is some preparation before. However if is for a gift you can just book the time but will limit the treatment options available on the day.
Can I exclude part of a treatment if I don't want it?
Of course, we want your treatment to be right for you. So your therapist will discuss everything with you before they start so if there is any part you prefer not to have we can always exclude and spend longer on another element or swap for something else.
Do you I need to tell you if I am pregnant?
If you are pregnant please advise us on time of booking so we can suggest an appropriate treatment for your stage of pregnancy.
Can I bring along my dog?
Yes your dog is welcome.
Can one of us sit and wait while the other is treated?
Yes you may, however please note if your treatment is in our Crow's Nest room seating is only available out on our balcony so this is weather dependent.
Can you remove Gel Nails?
Yes we can, however if you have Gel Nails please advise at time of booking as these will take extra time to remove. We need to allow an extra 20 minutes for their removal and we charge an additional £15.00 for this.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
We kindly ask for a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment we reserve the right to charge 50% of the treatment charge. If you have paid a deposit this will be refunded to you as long as you cancel outside of 24 hours.
