Ventnor has a long history of being a spa town, with it's own micro-climate it was a favourite destination with the Victorians and indeed Queen Victoria herself! The mild temperatures and pure sea air were believed to bring about a range of health benefits.

The Cabin is run and owned by Rowena and Oliver, who have been developing the site since it was acquired ten years ago. Originally the site of the landmark Balmoral Hotel, a large Victorian property which stood over five storeys. The hotel received bomb damage during the war and was pulled down shortly afterwards. Our aim has been to rebuild the site back to being a landmark in Ventnor and help continue its reputation as a spa town.
